
Michael O'Connell
Michael O'Connell has in excess of 15 years experience in human resource management and organisation development. This experience comprises line management experience as a HR Manager and a number of substantial HR consultancy assignments. It includes all day-to-day HR management responsibilities such as resourcing, remuneration, employee relations and training/ development as well as the design and implementation of major change initiatives such as management restructuring and implementation of performance management systems. He has designed and participated in recruitment and selection processes for a number of senior executives and specialists, reviewed and revised pay systems and implemented new HR policies and procedures. He also has had a number of interim roles as HR Manager/HR Director and brings a practitioners perspective to all assignments he undertakes. He is qualified in psychological testing and EQi (emotional intelligence) and has coached a number of individuals in addressing management and career challenges. He has worked for multinational, private organisations and in the public sector. He holds a MSc. in Business Administration, a Diploma in Employment Law, a Certified Diploma in Accountancy and Finance and a Diploma in Executive Coaching.
