John Guinan
John Guinan is principal consultant of Guinan HR Consulting. He has extensive experience of HRM both from an internal organisational perspective and as a Consultant on HR, Leadership & Team Development, Change Management and the management of people. John has worked with a variety of organisations to assist improve organisational effectiveness through a focus on HRM strategies.

His experience in HR extends to over 30 years with Bank of Ireland where he gained experience of all aspects of HRM and was Director of HR for Retail Ireland. Since this time John has operated an independent consultancy. . The range of companies assisted through this consultancy work includes the construction, tourism, oil & gas exploration, professional organisations, semi-state and public service and financial sectors. John lectures regularly at conferences in Ireland and also at the IMI in the areas of HR Leadership & Strategy, Leadership, Change Management and People Management.

John holds a B.Comm from UCD and a post graduate Diploma in Psychology also from UCD. He is a graduate of the Michigan University Executive Education programme and a Fellow of CIPD. In addition he is accredited in a wide variety of assessment instruments e.g. MBTI, Belbin Team Type, OPQ and Facet 5 Personality Instruments and a wide variety of 360 Questionnaires including Emotional Intelligence.
